Pop-up show to benefit artists and nonprofits March 6
During this year’s DoMore24 campaign, the Rehoboth Art League and the Developing Artist Collaboration will partner to support the arts and raise money for both organizations’ initiatives.
A one-night-only, pop-up art show and dine-and-donate event will take place from 5 to 9 p.m., Thursday, March 6, at Shorebreak Lodge, 10 Wilmington Ave., Rehoboth Beach.
Twenty participating member artists from DAC and RAL will display original works that will be available for purchase directly from the artist. A portion of the food and drink proceeds will be donated to benefit both art groups. Jazz musicians Sharon Sable and Joe Holt will play throughout the evening, allowing attendees to enjoy a delightful dinner featuring fine art, music and beverages. No tickets are required, but reservations are recommended.
RALxDAC’s Pop-Up Art Show at Shorebreak Lodge coincides with the Delaware-wide fundraising event DoMore24. Also known as Delaware’s Largest Giving Day, the event is designed to help nonprofits increase their capacity and engage new donors. The 24-hour fundraising giving period runs from 6 p.m., Thursday, March 6, to 6 p.m., Friday, March 7. For more information, go to domore24delaware.org.
The collaboration between RAL and DAC underscores their shared commitment to promoting the arts and fostering creativity within the community. By joining forces, the two organizations seek to unite their audiences and make a public statement about their partnership and dedication to advancing the arts at the Delaware beaches.
