The program will include patriotic selections, marches and reflective pieces to honor the military presence worldwide that keeps America free.
Director Steve Kieley said, “I wanted to present a Veterans Day concert to honor and celebrate the incredible sacrifices made by our veterans. Music has a unique ability to bring people together, and this concert serves as a meaningful way to express gratitude and support for those who have served our country. By organizing this event, the Rehoboth Concert Band hopes to create a space for reflection, appreciation and community connection. It’s an opportunity evoke emotions and inspire others to recognize the importance of service and sacrifice. Ultimately, this concert is our way of giving back and ensuring that our veterans feel celebrated and valued.”
An honor guard from Mason Dixon VFW Post 7234 of Ocean View will present the colors to start the program.
Donations will be accepted at the door for Folds of Honor, an organization that awards scholarships to families of veterans and first responders.
