Rehoboth Elementary students advance in Americanism essay contest

Four Rehoboth Elementary students were recently named as finalists in the Delaware State Americanism Essay Contest hosted by the Rehoboth Beach American Legion Auxiliary.
Students were assigned the essay title of What Does Patriotism Mean to You? Grade levels were divided into six classes, with one award in each of the six classes presented in each division. Winners received $50, with an additional $50 donated in the student’s name to the Children of Warriors National Presidents’ Scholarship fund.
Each essay winner advanced to the national competition, with results to be announced during the summer.
