Robert Warrington Kroh, avid Eagles fan
Robert Warrington "Bob" Kroh, 67, peacefully passed away in his sleep due to heart failure Monday, Feb. 10, 2025. Born Jan. 25, 1957, in Nice, France, Bob lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to those he held dear.
Bob was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, a cherished brother, and a loyal friend. He had a deep passion for the simple joys in life—his family, his friends, his dog, and, of course, his beloved Philadelphia Eagles. Just one day before his passing, he experienced one of his greatest joys, watching the Eagles claim victory in Super Bowl LIX Feb. 9, 2025, defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22. True to tradition, Bob spent the day cheering, cooking his favorite game-day foods, and sharing the moment with loved ones. The excitement may have been more than his heart could handle, but we find comfort in knowing he left this world with happiness in his heart.
Bob took great pride in his career as a dedicated member of the Laborers’ Local Union 57 in Philadelphia, a profession that not only provided for his family but also created lasting friendships and a legacy of hard work. Nearly 15 years ago, Bob and his wife, Mary Theresa (MT) Kroh, moved from Southeast Pennsylvania to Lewes, where they built a life filled with community, love, and the beauty of the ocean.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Theresa (MT); his children, Jason (Laura), Josh (Shelby), Sean (Amanda), Matthew, Ryan and Mariah (Andy); and eight grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and joy. He is also survived by his brother, Glen Kroh (Betty Ann). Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
In accordance with Bob’s wishes, he will be cremated in a private family service at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes. The family invites all who knew and loved Bob to join them in honoring his memory at a Celebration of Life from noon to 2 p.m., Saturday, March 22, at Sussex East Clubhouse, 14 Manor House Lane, Lewes, with a scattering of his ashes at sea to follow.
As his family navigates this difficult time, instead of flowers, they ask for donations to assist with funeral expenses. Bob’s final wish was to be laid to rest in the ocean, and any contributions will help honor that wish and assist with the transition. Donations can be made directly to Mary Theresa (MT) Kroh or using the following GoFundMe link: gofund.me/655867ba. If unable to donate, consider sharing this fundraiser to help spread the word.
Bob’s memory will live on in the stories we share, the love we carry in our hearts, and every Eagles game we cheer for in his honor.
With love and appreciation, The Kroh family.
