Sussex Technical High School Digital Publishing and Graphic Design Technologies students Alana Furst, Emilie Mozingo and Theo Richardson were selected to be part of the Pacem in Terris traveling peace youth art exhibition.
The students participated in the 7th Annual Pacem in Terris Visionary Peace Youth Art Exhibition held in January at the Wilmington Public Library. While on display, the artwork was reviewed by community leaders who selected the pieces with the strongest messages of peace to be part of the exhibition. The works of three Sussex Tech students were selected from among 550 submitted pieces.
The artwork will be displayed from April through November at more than 20 different locations including state service centers, libraries and family courthouses. The students will also receive recognition at a celebratory event.
Sussex Tech is a public high school that prepares Sussex County students in grades 9-12 for their future success in both higher education and workforce environments.
