Sussex Tech students take part in county science fair

Sussex Technical High School students Violet Giordano, Aimee Velasquez-Garcia, Alondra Lopez-Juarez and Areli Garcia-Quinones recently participated in the Sussex County Science Fair.
The Delaware Biotechnology Institute presented a special award to Velasquez-Garcia and Lopez-Juarez, who also garnered first place for her work with C. elegans.
For her project on fruit flies, Velasquez-Garcia received an honorable mention.
