Cape sophomore Thomas Ott earned the 220-pound state championship Feb. 25 in front of a large home crowd at Cape Henlopen High School.
Ott faced Lake Forest's Marshall Hobbs in the finals, who he had defeated last weekend in the finals of the Henlopen Conference Championships.
Ott celebrated by tackling coach Chris Mattioni and leading a Cape chant with the student section.
