TidalHealth Nanticoke names 2024 scholarship honorees
TidalHealth Nanticoke recently announced its 2024 scholarship recipients.
Healthcare education scholarship awardees are Marlie Janvier, Alyssa Molock and Ja’Vonte West. Janvier graduated from Seaford High School and will attend the University of Delaware to pursue a career as a certified registered nurse anesthetist. Molock graduated from Sussex Tech and will attend Vanderbilt University to pursue a career as a physician assistant. West graduated from Sussex Tech and will attend the University of South Carolina to pursue a career in sports medicine.
Annika Teagle is the recipient of the Jill Hickman Nursing Scholarship. She graduated from Laurel High School and will attend Delaware Technical Community College to pursue a career in nursing.
Russell Affum is the recipient of the Diversity in Healthcare Scholarship. He graduated from Delmar High School and will attend Duke University to pursue a career as a physician.
“We are honored to support these students in the next step of their educational journeys,” said Penny Short, MSM, BSN, RN, president of TidalHealth Nanticoke and senior vice president of TidalHealth. “Pursuing a career in service to others, especially in healthcare, can be challenging but very rewarding. We can’t wait to welcome them as fellow caregivers.”
