Vote Republican this election season

October 29, 2024

The imminent 2024 election is truly the most important since the establishment of our great nation. We are choosing between keeping our republic or losing it to socialism.

The three primary issues across the board are the economy, securing the border and maintaining law enforcement.

Go down the ballot to vote for your security and to continue to provide our America to the next generations. Vote early; it began Friday, Oct. 25.

The U.S. Senate needs Eric Hansen, who will work to get the economy under control and borders secured for all Delawareans. In the U.S. House, John Whalen will uphold conservative values, parental rights, along with law and order – American values.

In terms of Delaware government, it is time to elect Mike Ramone for governor and Ruth Briggs King for lieutenant governor to change the direction of our state for the first time in 40 years. We need to step away from one-party rule and have leaders with business acumen and experience, who will bring fresh ideas to the table to improve the business climate, education and student outcomes in Delaware.

The other statewide race is for insurance commissioner, where Ralph Taylor, who was a 20-year Dover policeman, has been a Capital school board member and Dover city councilman and entrepreneur, deserves our vote. He is a man of faith and integrity.

In eastern Sussex in the Sixth Senate District, please support Kim Hoey Stevenson. She knows how to look at the big picture and identify the best way to move Delaware forward for the citizens as well as the communities in the district, not special interests. Her life experience in education, communication and community service make her the strongest advocate for the Sixth Senate District citizens and businesses.

In the 14th Representative District, Mike Simpler is the strongest candidate to bring commonsense, independent and simpler thinking, and knowledge of our communities to Dover – not bigger and more intrusive, expensive government.

In the 20th Representative District, Nikki Miller deserves your support and vote. She is a distinguished leader, understands the issues and is a strong communicator. She will bring her broad leadership experience to Dover for all of us.

In Sussex County, please re-elect Jay Jones for Clerk of the Peace. He brings broad experience to this county position, as he issues marriage licenses and marries people all over the county, and continues to volunteer in myriad charitable activities.

God Bless America, and please go out and vote.
