Worcester Prep announces academic convocation top awards

Worcester Prep eighth-grader Mia Jaoude receives the Grade 6-8 Head of School Highest Academic Award presented by Head of School Dr. John McDonald.
The annual Worcester Preparatory School Academic Convocation ceremony was held May 23, when awards were given for academic achievement in all subject areas and service to the school.
The evening’s most prestigious academic convocation award honors were bestowed to the following four students. Best All-Round student awards recipients are selected by a written vote of faculty and staff:
Head of School Highest Academic Award, Grades 9-11, went to junior Isabella Huber of Berlin, Md. Best All-Round Student, Grades 9-11, went to freshman Jude Damouni, Lewes.
Head of School Highest Academic Award, Grades 6-8, went to eighth-grader Mia Jaoude of Lewes. Best All-Round Student, Grades 6-8, went to seventh-grader Scarlett Shimko of Berlin.
