Visitors had a chance to step back in time April 28-29 during the eighth annual Fort Miles living history weekend at Cape Henlopen State Park. More than 70 re-enactors – American and German – with period clothing, weapons, gear and vehicles, took part in the event, which featured artillery drills, Battery 519 museum tours and the unveiling of the USS Missouri gun barrel The annual event is hosted by the Fort Miles Historical Association.
