The Phillies are going to be in last place if they don't watch out

Over the past two weeks the Phillies bullpen has been terrible! They have blown a whole bunch of leads. If this doesn't change, the only possible competing the Phils will be doing is with the Atlanta Braves for last place in the division. This will be disappointing since the offense is averaging 4 to 6 runs every game. That should be enough to win at least half of their games. This could be a very long and disappointing season if they don't get their act together in short order.

It's Players Championship week in golf. This is the PGA Tour's flagship event. They have been playing this tournament on the TPC Sawgrass course in Jacksonville, FL since 1982. With the exception of the Masters course, the last three holes, 16 -18, are the most photographed and famous holes in golf. If I was the head of the PGA, I would have them move the 17th Island hole to be the 10th hole on the course. I think it has too much of an impact on who wins the tournament in the end for such a unique hole.

However, I suspect this will never happen for the exact reason that it is such an iconic hole. This weeks weather is supposed to be amazing in Jacksonville so there will be very low scoring. Ricky Fowler, who won in 2015, is a good pick to win the tournament for the second time. No defending champion has ever won in back to back years in this tournament.

Always Dreaming won the Kentucky Derby by a a few lengths on a very sloppy track, from a constant rain. Let's see what happens in a little next week at the Preakness in Maryland.

Last, but not least, good luck to my cousin and all the Syracuse Women's Lacrosse team. They are in the second round of the NCAA tournament this Sunday against either Boston College or Canisius.
