TidalHealth Nanticoke awards 2023 scholarships

TidalHealth Nanticoke announced its 2023 healthcare education scholarship recipients are Martina Ambrosino, Samuel Cummings and Noelle Kim.

Ambrosino graduated from Seaford High School and will attend Salisbury University to pursue a career as a pharmacist.

Cummings graduated from Sussex Tech and will attend Stevenson University to pursue a career in nursing.

Kim graduated from Sussex Academy and will attend the University of Richmond to pursue a career as a pediatrician.

The Jill Hickman Nursing Scholarship recipient is Dhara Nakrani, who graduated from Delmar Senior High School and will attend Salisbury University to pursue a career in nursing.

“We are so proud of these students, and we are honored to help support them in the next step of their journey,” said Penny Short, MSM, BSN, RN, TidalHealth Nanticoke president. “Pursuing a career in service to others, especially in a healthcare field, can be challenging but very rewarding. We commend their aspirations and can’t wait to welcome them as fellow caregivers.”
