October 16, 2024

Corinne Lehman passed away peacefully Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024, in Lewes. She was born Aug. 25, 1934, in the Bronx, N.Y. Corinne's life was a tapestry of joy, dedication, and service woven through her 90 years.

Corinne was the cherished matriarch of a family who adored her. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Consiglia Vitulli; her beloved husband, Ralph Lehman, and her grandson, Eric Sa. Her legacy continues through her devoted daughter,  Karen Stellato-Sa (Orlando) of Bellerose Village, N.Y.; her son, David Stellato (Riley) of Nashville, Tenn.; her grandchildren, Alexandra Bailey (Padraic) of Niskayuna, N.Y., Nicole DeVault (Andrew) of Maidens, Va., and Andrew Stellato of Austin, Texas; and her great-grandchild, Eleanor Bailey. A special mention goes to her dear family friend, Bob Porta, who stood by her through thick and thin.

Corinne grew up in Delaware. She moved to New York, where she spent her adult life, raising her family. She always retained a strong connection with her Delaware relatives and eventually added a vacation home in Delaware.

Corinne's professional life was marked by her role as an administrative assistant in the Brentwood School's music department, where she harmonized her passion for music with her organizational skills. Her interests were as vibrant as her personality, ranging from singing to gardening, painting, and traveling. She had a knack for party planning and a love for shopping at Talbots. Alongside her husband, they enjoyed sailing, and she relished the adventures that accompanied his work trips. In her final 12 years, Corinne found joy and companionship with her second family at The Moorings at Lewes.

Corinne’s memory will be treasured by all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, Oct. 21, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Hwy., Lewes, with a viewing for family and friends from 2 to 3 p.m.
