Simpler makes final pitch to RD14 voters

November 1, 2024

Mike Simpler here again, and thank you for all of your support these last several weeks as your candidate for Delaware’s House of Representatives 14th District seat. I’ve been honored to have been nominated for this job, and am so grateful for all the people who have come forward from all over the region to support this campaign. There are so many people I’ve now gotten to know who are new friends I will always appreciate. It’s humbling, and I’m so fortunate to meet voters, supporters, volunteers and contributors who have powered this effort beyond anything I’d have imagined just a few months ago. For the work you’re putting into this effort so your voice is heard for the issues that are critical to you, know that I’m deeply grateful and aware of my responsibility to all of you should I be elected.

By now, you’ve likely heard about my six commitments to you. Check out my website if not for more details: Simpler4DE14.com. You’ve likely heard of my volunteer work, my community investment, my origins and my family’s life here in coastal Sussex, and hopefully you’ve heard from your friends and family that they are supporting me also! Please tell others!

Seriously, though, in the homestretch, there is little more to say other than that I am a man of my word. I’ll be the guy many of you already know, who will do what he says and who has said what he’ll do.

The people drive politics in our society, not parties, not massive entities, and I’m grateful that we still have opportunities for a local guy like me to raise his hand and say to his neighbors, “Let me be your voice, let me be your champion, let me be your contribution to our community good, as I have the energy, the temperament, and hopefully your trust to be the person you’d be yourself in the same role.”

I will listen, I will hear you, I will do the work and the learning to be the representative in Dover that you deserve and want. That is ultimately all I can say at this point as voting begins, as well as thank you!

Let’s build coastal Sussex’s future together, where every voice matters and every citizen thrives. I am humbled by your trust and support.

Thank you for your vote for Mike Simpler Tuesday, Nov. 5, or anytime during early voting until Sunday, Nov. 3, or by absentee ballot now.

Mike Simpler
Candidate
House District 14
Rehoboth Beach
