A chilly night on Union Street didn’t hinder the warm spirits of men, women, and especially children, as they welcomed Santa to Milton at the town’s annual Christmas parade Dec. 4.
Marching bands from Cape Henlopen, Sussex Tech, Seaford and Milford high schools performed along the route.
Grinches from various businesses passed out candy to the bundled up crowd.
Antique cars and souped-up Corvettes also traveled the parade route.
The grand finale came when Santa and Mrs. Claus made their way down Union Street on Milton Fire Department’s Engine 85-2.
