YMCA welcomes special visitor for Autism Awareness Month

The YMCA of Delaware partnered with Autism Delaware during April for its statewide Autism Awareness Tour featuring Alex the Autism Delaware Bear.
Alex’s trek to all Ys across the state to mark Autism Awareness Month included a stop at the Sussex Family YMCA in Rehoboth Beach.
“The Y seeks to improve the health and well-being of every individual we serve,” said Jarrett Royster, YMCA of Delaware president and CEO. “The Autism Awareness Tour helps unite our community while highlighting our uniqueness and celebrating what binds us together. The YMCA is welcoming for all.”
