AAUW to host Overfalls Foundation representative Jan. 16

AAUW Coastal Georgetown Branch will meet at 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 16, at The Lodge at Historic Lewes.

Dave Beck, a longtime volunteer with the Overfalls Foundation, will be the featured speaker.

Located adjacent to Lewes Canalfront Park, the Lightship Overfalls is the only National Historic Landmark in Sussex County and the only maritime landmark in Delaware. With the lightship as its centerpiece, the Overfalls Foundation collects, preserves, honors and teaches the maritime history of Lewes, the Delaware Bay and the coastal region.
