Blood bank offering 302 Horseshoe Crab T-shirts for donors thru March 5

Each year on March 2, 302 Day pays homage to Delaware’s statewide area code.

This year, Blood Bank of Delmarva announced it is giving away free, limited-edition 302 Horseshoe Crab T-shirts to all presenting blood, platelet or plasma donors.

Inspired by Delaware’s official state marine animal, 302 Horseshoe Crab is a local, family-owned lifestyle brand.

“Blood Bank of Delmarva is proud to be the provider of lifesaving blood products to the state of Delaware and all of Delmarva, and we’re excited to be partnering with an incredible local business like 302 Horseshoe Crab to spread awareness about the need for blood donations,” said Jason Burlew, marketing manager. “We encourage all Delawareans to celebrate our state’s favorite holiday by making an appointment to donate near you. We’re even throwing in a free T-shirt as a token of our appreciation.”

The shirts will be available at donor centers and blood drives through Wednesday, March 5.

“As a donor myself, my wife and I are so excited and honored to work with BBD,” said Keith Mosher, who co-owns 302 Horseshoe Crab with his wife Karlin. “We hope this collaboration encourages fellow 302ers to get out and donate and help save the lives of Delawareans.”
