CAMP Rehoboth Women’s FEST expo returns to Rehoboth

From medical screenings to woodcarvings, arts and crafts, and tie-dye shirts, the CAMP Rehoboth Women’s FEST (short for fun, entertainment, spring, tradition) expo had a little something for everyone April 12 at the Rehoboth Convention Center. 

“Many of the artists here are some of the best artists we have in Rehoboth, and we’re very lucky to have them,” said Kim Smitas, expo coordinator for CAMP Rehoboth Women’s FEST. “They’re very, very talented, and we certainly appreciate all of them being here.”

Since its inception as a women’s conference and weekend back in 2001, the CAMP Rehoboth Women’s FEST has become a beloved event in Rehoboth Beach.

“There are so many directions and so many different things we could focus on, but I honestly see us possibly splitting this into two days, with one of them being for performing arts and the other being for community resources,” Smitas said.
