The Cape boys’ lacrosse team moved to 7-2 on the season with a 15-5 loss to Salesianum April 14 at Abessinio Stadium in Wilmington.
Grant Conway, Burke Healy, Evan Burris, Braddock Smith and Brenner Short each scored a goal for the Vikings. Ryan Morgan was credited with an assist.
Goalie Mason Trench made 13 saves in the crease.
“I thought the boys played well for a lot of the game, especially in the clearing game,” said Cape coach Geoff Shupard. “I was very happy with the speed and effort that the guys played with. Salesianum is a very talented team, and they played a good game.”
