I thought we did a great job with the serve and pass game. Bryce [Patterson] did a great job anchoring our serve-receive, keeping us consistently in system so Jason [Harpel-Rickards] had every offensive option at the ready. He also did a great job applying pressure to Conrad’s defense with his own serve.”

Harpel-Rickards assisted on 35 points, while Patterson led the offense with 20 kills, eight digs, five aces and two blocks. Junior Lawson Whaley knocked down 11 kills and roofed seven blocks. Junior Braxton Figgs blocked five kill attempts. Keller Mancari, Ryder van Horn, Jacob Paynko, Justin Vent and Kiernan Morrissey teamed for 16 digs in the match.

Lawson [Whaley] did a really nice job with his block tonight. He’s really getting comfortable with his timing and jumping into attackers’ alleys at the right time. Keller [Mancari] took some really smart swings that will hopefully continue to instill confidence in his play going into the second half of the season.”
