The Rehoboth Beach Main Street team is proud to introduce the 2024 Citizen of the Year, Chuck Snyder.
All are invited to come and celebrate Snyder at this year's 30th Annual Community Unity Dinner, set for 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 8, at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, 229 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach.
Snyder was a City of Rehoboth Beach employee for more than 30 years. He has been a member of the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company for decades, currently serving as fire chief.
Also, Mike Venanzi and Terry Kistler will be receiving Champion Awards for 2024, recognizing their volunteerism, effort, dedication and commitment in supporting the downtown business community through Rehoboth Beach Main Street.
Tickets can be purchased at the Rehoboth Beach Main Street office or at the door for an all-you-can-eat pasta dinner followed by dessert. Guests can mingle and meet city residents and business owners for an evening dedicated to fun and camaraderie. Attendees can pay an additional fee for unlimited wine and Dogfish Head beer.
Entertainment includes a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, along with musical entertainment by the Cape Jazz Band and Sussex Dance Academy dancers performing scenes from “The Nutcracker Suite.”
