Cookie walk patrons can also shop for hand-painted ceramic trees and other holiday items.
The Lewes Senior Activity Center cookie walk fundraiser will start at 8 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, at 32083 Janice Road, Lewes, just past Lewes Fire Department Station 2 near Nassau Bridge. The popular annual event sells out quickly.
New this year will be a specialty cookie table. The center’s ceramics group members will also be selling nostalgic hand-painted trees and holiday items.
The Lewes Senior Activity Center promotes health and wellness for individuals 50 or older, offering fitness and exercise classes, arts and crafts classes, social get-togethers, affordable travel and community service opportunities for its members.
