Docking in downtown Milton
With Memorial Day weekend looming, boating season is upon us. In Milton, docks in the center of town have for decades provided opportunities for boaters to keep their boats in the water for fishing and exploration on the upper reaches of the Broadkill River. A permit for $50 per year sounds like a great deal.
Just beyond the docks is today’s Memorial Park. In the distance can be seen the Milton Fire Department, Milton Theatre and several buildings that no longer stand.
