Equine program for veterans to start April 18

April 2, 2025

Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding will host an eight-week equine program for veterans from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Fridays, April 18 to June 13, in Milton.

The free program will provide participants with strategies to promote health and well-being while connecting with other veterans in an encouraging, positive environment. Participants will experience hands-on interactions with the horses, improve communication skills, and learn basic horse care and groundwork skills. There is no cost to attend, but advance registration is required. To sign up, contact Kelly Boyer, program director, at 302-644-1920 or kelly@sdtrhr.com.
