Free Zumba Gold class for beginners set Nov. 18

Local fitness expert Alicia Bercury will offer a free Zumba Gold class at 12:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 18, at Yoga Studio Rehoboth, in the Midway Shopping Center at 18675 Coastal Highway, Unit No. 5, Rehoboth Beach.

Bercury who has been a certified Zumba instructor for 16 years. Zumba Gold classes are modified to incorporate easy-to-follow choreography with all the same great rhythms and music of the original Zumba program. With lower-impact design and slower pace, classes are ideal for beginners, people over 55 and active seniors.

Participants’ cardiovascular fitness, muscular endurance, coordination and balance will all be challenged while dancing merengue, salsa, reggeaton, cumbia, pop hits and more. No experience is needed.
