Jane Brady joins Halloran Farkas + Kittila law firm

Former Delaware attorney general and Superior Court Judge M. Jane Brady has joined Halloran Farkas + Kittila as a litigation and corporate governance partner in its Delaware office.

Brady served as the first woman attorney general of the State of Delaware, a post she held for three terms, and has litigated more than 100 jury trials and more than 40 appeals before the Delaware Supreme Court. Following her service as attorney general, Brady was appointed to serve on the Superior Court, where she presided over a full docket of civil and criminal matters.

“Her deep understanding of the litigation and regulatory landscapes will be instrumental in helping our clients address the issues at the forefront of state and federal agendas,” said Ted Kittila, managing partner of HFK. “We are excited to welcome her to our team and know that her insights will make a tremendous impact.”

Brady’s accomplishments and leadership have earned her a national profile. In 2004, she chaired the Executive Working Group comprised of attorneys general, district attorneys, and United States attorneys to discuss law enforcement and prosecution issues of mutual concern. She was also a founding member of the Republican Attorneys General Association and has served on American Bar Association committees regarding the preservation of biological evidence, the American jury system, and the prosecution function. She was also the head of the state GOP. Brady currently serves as chair of A Better Delaware, a nonpartisan public policy and political advocacy organization, where she writes on topics including education, healthcare, energy and the economy.
