Lewes race for open space slated April 5

The Greater Lewes Foundation Open Space Alliance campaign team and the City of Lewes will host the second annual Race for Open Space at 9 a.m., Saturday, April 5, at George H.P. Smith Park.
Sponsor and registration proceeds will benefit the Fourth Street Preserve campaign to save Lewes’s last forested open space.
The annual race is co-sponsored by the City of Lewes and the Greater Lewes Foundation and coordinated by Seashore Striders.
The 5K run and 1-mile walk course runs through the preserve. Awards, music and food will follow the race.
