Milton chamber opens new office

Facility offers visitors center, meeting space
February 19, 2025

The Milton Chamber of Commerce celebrated the grand opening of its new Union Street office Feb. 6, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

It’s the first time the chamber has had its own dedicated office space, which is located next to Milton library.

Chamber Board Chair Aaron Rogers said, “It’s always been in someone’s house. It’s going to be used as a welcome center and a small, more intimate meeting space. We’re going to open it up to some of the nonprofits in town. We’ll hold our board meetings here. But essentially, it will be a main point of communication for visitors to come to the town. We want to make sure that we have a place where people can come and get more information about the town.”

Rogers said the location is perfect for those purposes, as it is located in the heart of town in Milton’s central business area. He said the unit was basically empty when the chamber got it, and the chamber spent months converting the space for its purposes.

The offices will be open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with Tuesdays and Thursdays open by appointment. Rogers said during the summer, the office will be open on weekends as part of an effort for the chamber to have a presence when the town is busy.

Rogers said both Milton and the chamber are experiencing significant growth, and the new office will put the chamber in a position to handle additional members and events.

“I think it puts us in position to be able to handle things easier,” he said.
