The Milton Community Food Pantry extends thanks to all the volunteers, partner organizations and donors who made it possible to provide Thanksgiving distributions to 282 local families, meaning roughly 752 individuals.
Turkeys were provided thanks to the generous support of local businesses that covered the cost.
Sponsors and donors are needed to help the pantry provide nutritious food to neighbors for Christmas, and give them hope that this will be their last food-insecure holiday season. Supporters help local children, seniors, veterans and low-income families celebrate the holidays with delicious, quality food that can make the season bright.
Last year, the pantry and its supporters brought hope, holiday joy and smiles to nearly 167 households during Thanksgiving and Christmas. The client list has doubled in the past year, as organizers anticipate caring for close to 300 families this Christmas season.
