Milton Lions collect and deliver hurricane relief donations

Milton Lions Club recently hosted Darryl J. Hudson from the Caesar Rodney Chapter of the Delaware Society, Sons of the American Revolution.

Hudson and his grandson Hank gave a presentation on the Bill Willis Memorial Flag Program, showing historical photos and samples of the evolution of the American flag. The Lions also gave a donation to the Caesar Rodney Chapter.

Milton Lions and members of the Woodfield Preserve community collected 15 bags of clothing and 25 boxes of household goods and food for hurricane relief in North Carolina. Lion Al O' Neil donated his trailer and time to deliver to the area District Governor Robert Hart 31L in the Asheville, N.C. The supplies were to be distributed throughout affected areas.

After receiving more donations from 22-D Lions Clubs, O'Neil delivered another trailer full of supplies.
