Pathways to Success receives $12K from 100 Women Who Care
Members of 100 Women Who Care Southern Delaware recently gathered to present an award of $12,650 in support of Pathways to Success.
The local nonprofit selects at-risk high school students and provides needed social services as well as mentoring and tutoring. The graduation success rate of Pathways students is 98%, and 96% go on to college, the military or a job.
Fay Blake, Pathways executive director, said, “We support the educational endeavors of our students as they create their pathways for their future. Every day, I get to be a positive part of the lives of the students we serve at Pathways to Success.”
This donation marks the largest amount raised and awarded by this growing women’s group. Through an ongoing partnership with 100WWCSD, the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation, based in Minnesota, contributed an additional $5,000 matching grant.
