RD 20 Democrats elect new officers
The Delaware 20th Representative District’s Democratic Committee elected new leadership at its Jan. 16 meeting.
The meeting began with a caucus to elect committee members and then the elected committee members voted to elect the officers.
The new elected committee selected Sue Nyden as RD20s chair, succeeding Joe Sakaduski. Committee members also elected Milton Brown, vice chair; Pat Brown, secretary; and Ray Naughton, treasurer. All were elected unanimously for four-year terms of office.
In nominating Nyden,Sakaduski said “Sue has been a very active R20 committee member for several years, heading the 2022 candidate recruitment committee. Most recently, she served as RD20 vice chair. Sue will be an outstanding chair.”
“Our overall goal is to keep RD20 blue,” said Nyden. To volunteer, email Nyden at deldemsrd20@gmail.com.
