Relay for Life kickoff is April 30

Relay for Life of Sussex County will hold its kickoff event from 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 30, at Crooked Hammock Brewery, 36707 Crooked Hammock Way, Lewes. Fifteen percent of all sales will be donated to the local Relay for Life organization. 

As the largest national fundraising activity of the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life helps raise monies for all society activities, including patient and caregiver support, education and information services, and critical cancer research.

The Crooked Hammock event will feature DJ Sky Brady, who will be playing oldies in keeping with this year’s theme, Shake, Rattle ‘n’ Roll Away Cancer. Attendees are invited to dress in their best 1950s-inspired costumes for the chance to win a $25 gift card.
