Resource center receives $16,600 donation
Members of 100 Women Who Care Southern Delaware recently gathered to present an award of $16,645 to the Community Resource Center in Rehoboth Beach. Through an ongoing partnership with 100WWCSD, the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation, based in Minnesota, contributed an additional $5,000 matching grant.
With dignity and respect, Community Resource Center staff and volunteers help individuals and families get to the next steps of their journeys toward self-sufficiency and stability. It centralized location offers a place where residents can find guidance when they are facing a crisis. CRC programs include food rescue, a baby pantry, job center and day shelter for homeless men and women.
