Sussex Academy soccer wins state title

The Sussex Academy boys’ soccer team won its second straight Division II state championship with a 2-1 win over St. Andrew’s Nov. 16 in Dover.

After playing to a 1-1 tie after 80 minutes and overtime, the title came down to penalty kicks. First-team all-state goalkeeper CJ Norton stopped the second attempt of PKs to help secure the win.
