Have an E-meal for Earthday

Grab some potatoes, sweet or white. Pop them in the oven. Let them bake for an hour or so till soft.

Grab some vegetables straight from the Earth or from the produce section of your grocery store. Now slice and dice, mix and match. Make a salad with a drizzle of balsamic glaze.

Grab a can of your favorite beans. Drain and rinse then heat them on the stove or in the microwave till bubbly.

Add a slice of whole-grain bread, a scoop of brown rice or an ear of corn. And don’t forget your favorite fruit for dessert.

Now gather friends and family to enjoy an E-meal together—a meal so EASY a child could make it, so ECONOMICAL it can fit in the tightest budget, so EXCELLENT it meets all nutritional needs, so ETHICAL no animal had to suffer, so EARTH FRIENDLY it could all grow in your backyard garden.

Happy Earth Day!
