Remington Dona-Margaret Taylor birth announced
Proud parents U.S. Army Lt. Col. Amanda Taylor (née Bellistri) and Ryan “Pete” Taylor welcomed their second child together, baby girl Remington Dona-Margaret Taylor, at 7:20 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024.
Remington weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces and was 20 ¾ inches long at birth at Moore County Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, N.C., located near Fort Liberty, N.C., where the family is currently stationed.
Proud maternal grandparents are Brenda Bellistri of Pinehurst, and Jerome and Virginia Bellistri of Rehoboth Beach. Paternal grandparent is retired USMC Maj. James Taylor of Sneads Ferry, N.C.
Proud big brothers are Odin Taylor (10), Rocco Del Re (9), Julian Del Re (5), Bjorn Taylor (5) and MacArthur Taylor (1).
Amanda is a 2002 Cape Henlopen High School graduate. She is currently assigned to the 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne) where she oversees the air and missile defense programs for Army Special Forces. Pete is a Green Beret medic assigned to the 20th Special Forces Command (Airborne). He is also currently attending University of North Carolina Greensboro and studying nursing.
