Milton has lost its small-town charm

April 18, 2025

While attempting to drive through Milton while school was getting out, I realized Milton, in my opinion, has lost whatever small-town charm it might have had. It is nearly impossible to find a place to park and, in turn, support businesses in town.

Further, events the town is noted for are moving out to more accommodating venues. It is only going to get worse with all the building (both residential and commercial) that is ongoing and projected for the future. I enjoy living in the area, but I have to accept the fact that Milton and other communities in the area are becoming bedroom communities and no longer are quaint small towns.
